It is especially useful in the evaluation of pelvic pain, bone changes, infections, tumors or surgical planning.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is Pelvic Magnetic Resonance Imaging?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basin MRI is a non-invasive exam that uses magnetic fields and radiofrequency waves to obtain detailed images of the pelvic region and surrounding structures. The exam should be performed in a hospital setting. <\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout the MRI exam, you will be continuously monitored by the NRD imaging technician responsible for your exam. An alert system will also be available for you to activate if needed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must remain still during the exam to ensure image quality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The entire NRD team will be available to answer any questions you may have.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the exam, you may resume your normal routine.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When and how do you receive the results?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will receive the MRI results within 7 days after the exam, by email or in paper format at the clinic.
