About NRD

The NRD was created in 1985 by a group of leading doctors with the aim of providing quality services in the area of complementary diagnostic tests.

Maintaining a tradition of excellence, we adhere to the highest standards in the rigorous and honest treatment of our patients, ensuring that our medical and technical team is in possession of the latest knowledge and has the most advanced equipment in order to provide the patient with the best possible diagnosis.

We have a senior clinical staff with extensive experience and prestige, made up of more than 30 doctors – radiologists, neuroradiologists, neurophysiologists, cardiologists and anesthesiologists.

We have a range of modern equipment, in line with the latest developments, following a policy of investing in technical and technological innovation.

Since its foundation, the NRD has had a policy of supporting training and research in the field of imaging, providing its professionals with updates on the latest techniques.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging

We have advanced MRI equipment – the Philips INGENIA 1.5T MRI.

The new Philips INGENIA MRI, with the new dSTREAM architecture, provides a set of intelligent systems and advanced solutions that enable unprecedented clinical results, with faster and more consistent exams and greater patient comfort.

TAC

Our center is equipped with a state-of-the-art CT scanner, enabling precise diagnoses with low irradiation of the patient.

The Philips CT Ingenuity 128 DS incorporates the latest and most advanced Philips technologies.

Radiation Dose Reduction Systems – the equipment has dose control, reduction and modulation systems for adults and children, as well as a set of dedicated pediatric protocols. 

Ultrasound scanners

Our center is equipped with state-of-the-art Cannon / Toshiba Apilos A equipment, which allows us to perform precise diagnoses without irradiation. We also have 2 ultrasound scanners specifically for women’s health.

Mammography

The NRD currently has high-gamma tomosynthesis equipment (Hologic Dimensions 3D – the benchmark equipment and brand in this clinical area), with the capacity to carry out mammography and tomosynthesis exams in accordance with the latest international guidelines and which allows us to implement an examination protocol in which tomosynthesis is carried out on all women.

This equipment is the fastest currently on the market, allowing tomosynthesis acquisitions to be made in less than 4 seconds, thus improving patient comfort and the quality of the examination.

With these new tools and technological innovations, the NRD offers a high-quality means of diagnosis, duly proven and validated, to all patients for the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
